The survey took place in may, and people were asked to answer whether life is better in Riga than elsewhere in Latvia. 65% of respondents said that better, and 35% said that life in Riga is much better 30% slightly better.
Compared to last year, the share of those who believe in the world to live better, increased by 8 percentage points. Most believe it was in 2003, 72% of the population.
The opposite opinion is shared by 9% of respondents. 6% believe that living in Riga little worse than elsewhere, and 3% live in the capital much worse. Every fifth believes that between life in Riga and elsewhere there is no difference, and 7% could not answer the question.
