If "Atletico" was "Lester" without undue excitement by scoring a goal on a foreign field in the first half and eventually took the desired result (1:1), then real Madrid had to worry about the outcome of the game against Bayern at the "Santiago Bernabeu".

"Real" won the first match in Munich (2:1) thanks to the excellent game Cristiano Ronaldo. However, in his field "Galacticos" was in the role of the hole side at the beginning of the second half, when their gate was appointed 11-metre implemented by Robert Lewandowski.

However, this was not the end, because Bayern still had to score another goal, but then a quarter of an hour before the end of regular time of the match scored Ronaldo evened the score — 1:1. But has passed only one minute, as the defense of real Madrid, trying to keep Lewandowski, made a positional mistake and Sergio Ramos accidentally sent the ball into his own net— 1:2.

Before the end of the 90 minutes of play in Madrid, Bayern still lost Arturo Vidal (removal), so an additional half hour the German club was forced to play with ten men.

At the end of the first additional 15-minute period happened a key episode of the game, which ended in a goal Ronaldo and here the judge looked offside. The most unattractive in this, that the Portuguese, scoring this goal became the first in the history of the UEFA Champions League player necrotise 100 goals in this tournament (a week earlier, Ronaldo became the first football player to score a hundred goals in UEFA club competition).

Of course, Bayern now had to go forward (and in the minority) and five minutes later the team of Carlo Ancelotti was caught on the counterattack. However, it is impossible not to mention brilliant actions Marcelo. Brazilian midfielder like a knife through butter passed the opponent's defense and put Ronaldo the ball as if on a silver platter— 3:2.

This German club finally realized that to catch on here has not come out and literally three minutes later missed another goal. Its author was a substitute Asensio. 21-year-old Spanish attacking midfielder is quite easy and nicely ran away from opponents, struck the far corner of the goal Neuer and set the final result— 4:2.

Thus, the "Royal club" won the two matches (6:3) and set a record in the Champions League, reaching the semifinal of the tournament for the seventh time in a row. The previous record belonged to Barcelona (six exits in a row — from 2008 to 2013).
