The ski jumpers are training hard in Willingen to prepare for the upcoming qualifications. Lovro Kos and Johann Andre Forfang got close to Klemens Muranka’s hill record in both sessions. Dawid Kubacki’s impressive long jump of 139.5 m in the second training series could be a good sign for Polish fans ahead of the qualifications. The qualifications are set to start at 4:45 PM in Willingen.

Five Polish athletes made it to Germany: Paweł Wąsek, Aleksander Zniszczoł, Kamil Stoch, Dawid Kubacki, and Piotr Żyła. Lovro Kos had the best result in the training, jumping as far as 150.5 m, just two and a half meters short of Klemens Muranka’s hill record (153 m). Piotr Żyła had the best result among the Polish athletes in the first training, reaching only 112 m. Kamil Stoch followed closely, waiting for the right conditions before jumping 129.5 m. However, Kubacki impressed with a jump of 139.5 m, securing a high position in the second training. Piotr Żyła reached 135.5 m, while Johann Andre Forfang overshadowed his rivals with a jump of 151 m, just two meters short of the record set by Klemens Muranka.

Dawid Kubacki was the best among the Polish athletes in the second training, finishing in 13th place, followed by Piotr Żyła in 16th, Kamil Stoch in 25th, and Zniszczoł in 46th.
